The warranty starts from the moment your EVS truck warranty is purchased or the vehicle leave our premises. Whatever the vehicle application - from a 7.5 tonne on city centre multi-drop work to an 8x4 operating on waste and landfill, the terms of our warranty are one and the same.

Parts & Labour Cover

Defects to the following will be covered against Mechanical Breakdown or failure. Subject to the definitions, terms, conditions and exclusions contained in the agreement booklet and the maximum claim liability.

Engine

Failure of the following mechanical parts: Rocker covers, rocker gear, push rods, cylinder heads, valves (except burnt or pitted valves), guides and springs, cylinder block, liner and liner seals, pistons and rings, connecting rods and bearings, crankshaft and bearings, camshaft and followers, oil pump, drive shafts, timing chains and sprockets, timing gears and timing cover, flywheel and starter ring, sump, oil filter housing and turbochargers.

Cooling Systems

Failure of the following mechanical parts: Water pump, head gasket, thermostat housing and cooling fan, radiator (excluding choked blocked or corroded units)

Manual or Automatic Gearbox

Failure of the following mechanical parts: All casings and internal parts including transfer boxes, overdrive units, torque convertors and PTO units (only if supplied as original equipment) but excluding external linkages and controls.

Clutch (Manual transmission)

Failure of the following internal mechanical parts: Failure of the clutch plate, clutch cover and thrust bearing, including oil contamination of the clutch plate (but excluding external linkages, burnt out parts and general wear and tear) Limited to one clutch repair during the period of the cover.

Driving Axles

Failure of the following mechanical parts: Casings, crown wheel and pinions, differential units, differential locks, axle half shafts, rear hubs, hub reduction gears and bearings, two speed operating mechanisms(excluding external linkages)

Propshafts

Mechanical Failure of the propshafts including universal joints and bearings.

Differential and Driveline

Failure of the following mechanical parts: Differential or driveline including half shafts, external drive shafts, universal joints and c/v joints where fitted.

Electrics

Failure of the following parts: Starter Motor, alternator, distributor, wiper motor, coil, heater plugs and relays, electric window motors, tachograph and sender units, speed limiters. All other parts are specifically excluded.

Fuel systems

Failure of the following parts:
EDC/ECU(Maximum claim £1,000) fuel pump, lift pump and fuel injection pump (excluding injectors, pipes, linkages, and all other parts associated with the fuel system)

Suspension

Failure of the following parts: Front and rear levelling valves, load sensor valves, air bags, control units for raising and lowering lift axles.

Braking System

Failure of the following mechanical parts: Master cylinder, foot valve, air brake chambers (actuators), servo, wheel cylinders and calipers, ABS valves, sensors and control units, compressor, air dryer. All other parts associated with the braking system are specifically excluded from the agreement.

Steering

Failure of the following mechanical parts: Steering rack and pinion, steering box, idler box, power steering unit including pump, pressure pipes and reservoir (but excluding power steering belts, external links and joints, rubber boots and swivel pins)

Important

Service and sundry materials, including (but not limited to) clips and fastenings, mountings, oils, fluids, belts and filter elements are not covered. Similarly the rectification of external oil and fuel leaks are not covered.
